Early Life
Novak Djokovic was born on May 22, 1987, in Belgrade, Serbia. He is the youngest of Srdan and Dijana Djokovic’s three children. His father, Srdan, was a former basketball player who coached his son in tennis from an early age. Growing up, Djokovic was greatly influenced by his grandfather, who taught him the importance of discipline and hard work. At the age of three, Djokovic began playing tennis and went on to win the national championship in his age group.
